Sales Executive

Salary: Retainer + Commission, DOE

Position Location: New Orleans / Covington / Mandeville

Not Some Agency is in search of an experienced, pro-active Website Development Sales professional to market our services to small and medium sized businesses in the New Orleans Metro area. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in the internet industry, who can step in and drive the company’s revenue generation from new and ongoing interactive projects. This includes the ability to conceive and articulate coherent market positioning, make presentations demonstrating our solutions, identify targets, pitch and close business.

Initially, this is a commission only position that can grow to a Retainer Agreement, plus Commission, within 3 to 6 months for the proven professional.  First year income potential can easily exceed $50,000 to $100,000.  Commissions on each individual sale can range from $500 to $20,000. 

The ideal candidate must be a hands-on sales professional that can demonstrate the ability to market Internet and Web Technologies and increase revenues. A strong foundation in the latest Web Technologies, Content Management Systems, Best Practices, and Interactive Development are a must.  You should be able to express yourself well in email, in web-based demonstrations, and in person.

This position reports to Top Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting, brainstorming for and presenting to new and existing prospects/clients
  • Creation and management of marketing plans for new and existing products in conjunction with Top Management
  • Identify and contact the decision makers in targeted companies
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations to qualified prospects
  • Work with our development team to respond to proposal opportunities
  • Schedule and present business proposal and pricing information; revise as necessary
  • Develop and execute prospecting and follow-up correspondence as required
  • Provide status reports on all sales activities as requested by management
  • Conduct all sales activities in a manner that protects the company
  • Represent our company in a professional manner

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Extensive experience selling Web technologies and Internet related products
  • Experienced at consultative selling and solution selling techniques
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver. Proven ability to sell strategically and compress sales cycles
  • Knowledgeable about business practices in sales and marketing
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of client management
  • Knowledgeable about the Internet, brand management, information architecture and sales distribution practices
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications
  • Able to assist in creating sales presentation and sales support materials
  • Self-starter that does not require training and hand holding

Must have prior experience selling Web technology, Web sites or intranets. Ideal candidate will have a ‘rolodex’ of contacts that can immediately be contacted for a demonstration of our outstanding Branding and Web Development prophecies.
